Today's Tip
Violinists need strong, flexible bow hands, and today we are going to look just that.

Yesterday's tip looked at individual fingers, today let's thinks about the wrist.  Strength and flexibility in the wrist are just as important as in your fingers.

First, make sure that you are not standing too close to anything, your bow is going to move around during this exercise. We don't want you to hit anything and break the tip of your bow!

Hold your bow in your right hand. Now, hold your right forearm with your left hand so that the arm will not turn, we are trying to isolate the wrist with this exercise.  Finally, turn the wrist back and forth so that the bow moves like the windshield wiper on a car.  Wipe that windshield back and forth fifty times.  Good Work!
