Yesterday we talked about mirrors, today let's talk about video.

I like the idea of using video for a long-term look at progress made and for comparison should something go wrong.  Make a video of the way you play, then set it aside for future reference. 

Should you need encouragement, look at videos of yourself after a year or two, and compare them to how you play now. In some cases you will see your improvement.  In other cases you will be motivated to practice more!  But you will very seldom see no change at all in your performance.

The downside of video?  You can't see changes you make on the fly.  You have to stop what you are doing, rewind the video, then watch.  That is the beauty of using a mirror, as discussed yesterday.
