Get Inspired to Keep Playing
Everyone . . . everyone . . . everyone . . . sometimes feels that it is just not cool to do what they do. We get bored, we lose passion, we get tired, we want to fit in and don't feel that we do, we want to give up. We need some sort of inspiration to help us get out of the doldrums.

Let your student know that playing the violin is really special in a fun sort of way! Look at the History pages of this site, or at other resources that let a student know what kind of neat things you can do with a violin.

Go to concerts, listen to CD's, find a group you can play with, watch some videos on YouTube. It's great to meet celebrities who play the violin . . . even if they're just celebrities in your own town or county. Listen to CD's or watch DVD's about your instrument. Watch a few videos on YouTube! Read a book! You can find something special about almost any instrument, and with the violin it can be easy if you look around!  Need some suggestions?  e-mail me at violinfun @ violinstudent . com and I'll send some ideas.
