|We are coming to the end of the school year. Soon students will be going on vacation, and most of them will be away from their violin teachers for two months or more. It would be a shame to lose progress that we have worked so hard to gain over the last school year.
Now is the time to plan to keep all the skills you have worked on over the year. The best way to do that is to have a practice program set up for the summer. And the best way to do that is to choose several pieces of music that you like and would like to learn to play.
The first thing you should do is ask your teacher if he has the music, or if there is something he would rather that you work on. If not, go to your local music store to order the music. Or you can order it right here at this web site!
Regardless of where you get it . . .SET RIGHT TO WORK! If you take a vacation from your practice, you will probably turn it into a two month long vacation. So start early!! Work hard!!!
