|Check the position of your bridge every time you get the violin out of the case. If the bridge is slightly out of position you may straighten it using one hand on each side of the bridge. Pinch the sides of the bridge between the thumb and forefinger of each hand and GENTLY tilt the bridge into place.
If you are at all nervous about doing this have your teacher reposition the bridge. We do NOT want the bridge to fall. Not only do you need to set up the face of the violin again, the sudden loss of tension can cause the soundpost to fall.
