| An Outstanding Resource for Classical Sheet Music is Virtual Sheet Music. You can download Classical sheet music right to your computer. Not only do they have Christmas music available, they have many other works at various skill levels. You can join for a year for a single fee and have unlimited downloads, or you can try them out with single pieces. Something else that is really neat about the site is that they provide MIDI files of the music, so when you have the music in hand you can listen to the file and get an idea what it should sound like. (If you're like me, what it should sound like is not always the same as the sound my violin produces. Must be something in my violin's varnish, or my rosin, or my strings . . . it couldn't be my fingers!) Quick, Convenient and Reasonable . . . You Can't Go Wrong with Virtual Sheet Music. By the way, the fellow that runs the site plays the violin. When you deal with them, tell him, "hi," for me. He really is quite helpful and fun to deal with. |
